Maleny Show’s own Di Pratten has been recognised on a national stage, featured in The New Blue Ribbon Cookbook — a publication celebrating the heart and heritage of agricultural shows across Australia.
Released in March 2026, the book showcases stories from across the country, including one from right here in Maleny — highlighting Di’s journey, one of her prize-winning recipes, and the spirit of our Show.
Originally travelling from Toogoolawah, Di has been an exhibitor in the dairy section of the Maleny Show for more than 30 years, and a valued member of the society for just as long.
After relocating to the Maleny region in 2007, she continued her involvement, becoming a familiar and respected part of the Show community. Her long-standing commitment reflects what agricultural shows are all about — consistency, connection, and a passion for showcasing skills and produce.
