Becoming a member of the Maleny Show Society is a wonderful way to support one of Queensland’s most cherished community events while enjoying a range of exclusive benefits. By joining, you’ll gain access to the showgrounds for the entire duration of the Maleny Show, as well as free admission for your children (under 18) up to 3 children when accompanied by you. Membership also grants you voting rights at the annual general meeting, allowing you to have a say in the future of this iconic event. Open to individuals aged 18 and over, membership runs from 1st January to 31st December, with applications accepted until 31st March (To allow time to be processed before the show). Whether you’re a long-time local or new to the area, joining the Maleny Show Society is a great way to get involved, connect with the community, and help preserve this rich tradition. With affordable options, including discounts for pensioners and families, it’s never been easier to join!
Any person may, by being duly nominated by a current financial member and having their nomination accepted at a General Committee Meeting, and by payment of the annual subscription to the Secretary, be duly constituted a member and have all the rights and privileges of membership. Only adults 18 yrs and over will have membership rights.The Maleny Show Society’s membership year is equivalent to a calendar year, being 1st January to 31st December. Membership can be applied for during any part of the year, however any application for membership lodged AFTER 1st April may not be processed until after the Annual Show. (Thus tickets may not be provided in time for the show.)
Membership to Maleny Show Society affords the member the following privileges:
Admission to grounds for the duration of the show for adult members upon production of membership tickets.
Family memberships also include admission for one additional adult and up to 3 of the member’s own children (under 18 yrs) when accompanied by an adult.
Ability to nominate or be nominated for a committee position.
The option to receive news and information from the Society and our sponsors.
$25 - Single Adult
$20 - Single Pensioner
$50 - Family $50 (one named member, plus one additional adult and up to 3 of the member’s own children under 18 yrs).
Once your application has been accepted by the committee, you will be invoiced for your membership fee. There are no processing fees on memberships.
By applying for membership of the Maleny Show Society, you agree to read and abide by the Code of Conduct and the Terms and Conditions (including the Waiver of Duty of Care) of the Society. Both documents can be found on our website: malenyshowsociety.org.au, or a copy can be provided by request to the Secretary prior to membership application.
Membership tickets are emailed to you via our online ticketing platform once your payment has been received.
